Now imagine he still ran in 2020 and Dems still nominated him anyway cheering in throngs and like 40 other worse things came out in the meantime but Dems still supported him and then he won and 100 more worse things came out and Dems still supported him.

Trump hiding millions from bankruptcy court wouldn't even be a top 100 scandal for him. I mean that quite literally.

A note for Republicans who claim people treat them so differently these days because of their politics.

"My neighbors treat me so differently now that I bought the house next door and invited meth dealers to set up shop there and then made keys to all of their homes and gave the keys to the meth dealers, I can't even say 'I'm the meth dealer house key guy' anymore, it's scary."

"It's SO sad that people will treat you differently over something small like endangering their lives by empowering a dangerous criminal. Our country has gotten so polarized. I can't even walk the streets with my gas can and matches anymore without being harrassed for my views."

This week has been a week that's ramped up the whole 'oh woe is me, a Republican, afraid to state my views' refrain, and honestly, Republicans, how do you expect to be treated?

This is real life, you know. This is actually happening.

Is the expectation we'll pretend it isn't?

Sorry-not-sorry to people whose politics are defined by abuse and are finding enablement a bit harder to come by.

People treat you differently now. And they *should*.

Try a little personal accountability, to borrow one of your favorite terms.
