Figures from @CSOIreland suggest the value of Irish goods exports to Northern Ireland increased by 4% to just over €2bn last year. The value of goods imports from NI was up by 7% to €1.48bn.
Value of Irish goods exports to GB in 2018 were just over €14bn, which is a decrease of €441m (-3%) compared with 2017. Goods imports from GB were €18.3bn an increase of €811m (+5%) when compared with 2017.
Also worth noting that Nisra's BESES index puts the annual value of NI exports to the Republic at the much higher figure of c£4bn p/a. This is due to methodological differences. CSO using Interstat data. Nisra using the Annual Business Inquiry.
