This is both a great memo and a great memo about management.
I will accept an argument that that is not a memo, but that argument is wrong, and probably weighted heavily in "This is far too well-written to be a memo."

Memos are understudied as a form factor for great writing, which seems suboptimal given how much is riding on them.
"How much is riding on memos?"

I mean, to a first approximation, if every academic journal in the world ceased publication it would be years until you noticed and if every memo was burnt you'd die in about 5 weeks plus or minus 2.
