iD now flags many more deprecated tags. You can upgrade or remove them with one click ⬆️🏷️

Lines tagged as areas can be closed automatically

Nearly-connecting highways are flagged and can be joined instantly

Crossing highways, railways, waterways, and buildings are flagged. If a connection is allowed, you can connect the features with one click. The appropriate tags are also added to the junction!

iD can move tags from the outer way of a multipolygon (such was the old style) to the relation

Uploads with severe validation issues (such as untagged features) are now blocked

Adding features from hidden layers is disabled in order to avoid accidental duplicate mapping

The new @ImproveOSM layer displays possible missing roads, paths, parking, turn restrictions, oneway tags, and more detected from @Telenav trips. ❓🛣️❓

Stroke previews in line icons are now rendered live, meaning every line icon now has a preview and they'll always match what you see on the map

Lines and areas no longer snap to points that can't be vertices, making mapping like this possible without holding a modifier key (thanks @MaxGrossman13 )

Aerialways and pistes now render with distinct colors, providing a nicer experience for winter sport mapping ⛷🏻🏂🏻

Water features now have Salt and Tidal fields 🧂🌊
