She concluded the deal in November.

She knew it would be neither approved nor changed in November

She's delayed Parliament's ability to act until 17 days before a national disaster

Theresa May is running down the clock to force Parliament to choose between a deal she knows both Leavers and Remainers hate, or a No Deal which her own government minister & head of Vote Leave said would break the promises his campaign made in 2016.
I get it though... She's busy with important business.

WARNING:
▪️Parliament knows an Article 50 extension is needed.
▪️The EU won't grant one just so we can keep faffing around.
▪️The only way to guarantee that we'll have a final answer on the deal is a ratification referendum.

This will be painted as "the EU making us vote again".
Politicians will blame the EU for their failures (which is historically what got us here)
They failed to inform the public in a referendum they called, failed to take control of a clearly disastrous Brexit. Now their only way out is to blame the EU for resorting to a referendum.
Just wait... Politicians will be saying "It's not our fault. The EU is telling us it's either No Deal or #SecondReferendum and there's no time left".
These are the same politicians who will have been sitting on a deal they knew wouldn't change for the better part of 5 months.

#IDontUnderstandPeopleWho think a couple of pro-Brexit politicians and journalists are more trustworthy when it comes to what the NHS needs than the British Medical Association, Royal College of Nurses, Royal College of Midwives and Royal College of GPs.
If I need tips on renting London City bicycles or how to style my hair so it looks like I just got out of bed during a tornado, I'll give Boris Johnson a call. But if I need to know how much UK hospitals rely on European medical supplies and professionals, I'll ask NHS workers.

When you say "I want the Brexit I voted for", despite knowing that others voted for different ones, you're saying "I know that my Brexit version was probably voted for by fewer people than voted Remain, but I want the country to do it anyway."
Now I was about to follow this tweet up by saying "and those who want Brexit have have 3 years to agree among themselves what Brexit they want", but it's worse than that!
They've had 20 YEARS to agree on some kind of Brexit that respected the Good Friday Agreement! They haven't.
If any version of Brexit actually happens, it will be a Brexit that has less democratic legitimacy than staying in the EU, because it will not be what all of the 52% wanted.
Not by a long shot!

Although there are dozens of permutations, I can see Brexit unfolding in the near term one of two ways:
A) Parliament manages to impose its will in a non-blockable manner (if they even can) and Brexit gets delayed.
B) Theresa May runs the clock down until days before Brexit Day.
Under scenario B) she would then dare MPs to vote down her deal and fall over the no-deal cliff. And the threat would probably have teeth, too, in that it's unlikely Parliament could execute a strategy to kill off no-deal at that late, late stage.
The upshot would be that we would end up with a Brexit that we had quite literally been blackmailed into. A choice made, not for the good of the country, but purely and solely to keep the Tory party together.
