Sadly @BBCNews ran out of space in headline and lede to explain this is a delay, the 3rd delay, and another broken promise from a desperate prime minister with no power, except to block our parliamentary democracy. Only room to make it seem positive and decisive

Again, I don’t believe this is because of institutional bias at BBC - I think it’s down to incompetence. The Beeb lacks quality (and quantity) of journalists on the day to day tick-tock of news. Here the duty political hacks have simply written up the No 10 line they were given
However, that’s simply not good enough for what was the world’s leading news organisation, and it means BBC news is falling in its duty to educate and inform audiences in the UK at a critical point in history. It will not easily recover credibility after this period
