John Minford, #SunTzu 3:11 "A small force obstinately fighting will be captured by a larger force."

A name for this simple concept might be The Reality Principle. We'll come back to that. Another concept that helps here is the Law of the Fishes: big fish eat little fish. Guess how old that law is, as far as we can document it? 2,500 years old, dating to early Hinduism.

Jump in your time machine with me. You drive. 2,500 years ago please. Let's go visit both Sun Tzu and Lao Tzu. Let's head over to India where their greatest works we being written. Now to Greece, actually Calabria - part of the Greek empire at the time - and visit Pythagoras.

I don't know what was going on, or if all these ancient masters knew of each others works. I suspect global communication was far more extensive than we can prove. You can certainly derive the Law of the Fishes from Master Sun's work, and nowhere more so than here, in this verse.

As humans tend to be roughly the same size as each other, the advantage goes to the group of human fighters that is larger. When we're the smaller group, we often think that obstinate fighting will save the day, and sometimes it will. Usually not. Let that sink in, a bit.

I didn't graduate from college, but I did have some amazing college teachers. The most amazing was Dr. Shapiro, who taught the one and only philosophy course I took. It was, however, bar none, the most important course I ever took. I'll brag about my A+ another time.

Dr. Shapiro taught us the Reality Principle. He said, "If you kick a football with 30 pounds of pressure per square inch, it cannot fly off as if kicked with 300 pounds of pressure per square inch. There is only as much reality in any moment, as there is, and no more."

Reality please. Not fantasy. And none of this there is no cause and effect malarkey. Fight obstinately, go right ahead. But still, the larger force will usually capture the smaller force. So there. It's just reality.

Why must America be made great...again? It is because we gave up our greatness. When? I have a guess. JFK. His election was corrupt. It required the services of the mob in Chicago in order to win Illinois. Then, setting brother Bobby after the mob, assassination resulted.

Conspiracy theory you shout? Okay, let's say I'm wrong. No matter. Johnson and his prosecution of the Vietnam War. The liberal left that we live with to this day had its rise during the 60's. But there's a far worse date we can identify, 1980...ish. The School Teacher's Unions.

Teachers are government employees. A portion of their salaries is confiscated by their union. The union contributes to and support Democrat candidates. Round and round we go. The curriculum is set in order to teach young citizens to continue this system. This is reality.

But wait, what about the TEA Party, in 2010? Didn't we begin to change things? No, no, no. We didn't, and here's why not. Reality. We send new representatives to Congress, but they instant are overpowered. The big fish in congress eat the little fish.

But wait, in 2016 we elect @realDonaldTrump. And in the moment we are about to repeal Obamacare, one of the biggest of the big fish, McCain, overrides our vote with such a dramatic thumbs down. The gladiator kills the gladiator and the crowd roars. We love big fish, big shots.

But wait, in 2019 POTUS is going to build the wall, and guess what? The biggest of the swamp creature Republicans will vote to censure him. And guess what, Justice Roberts sides more and more with the liberal left of SCOTUS. Big swamp creatures, big fish, reality.

This is what the swamp knows. It is the larger force, most likely to capture the smaller force. It has money, power, pressure and persuasion that none of our little fish, newly elected representatives can imagine, let alone confront. It eats them alive. Corruption is reality.

There is an answer. Trump is leading the way from above, a righteous leader. But we must lead the way from below. National corruption is built upon a foundation of local corruption. In coming days and weeks, we'll map out a plan to employ local teams to battle local corruption.

In every battle we choose, we must never be merely a smaller group of obstinate fighters. We must face reality and place it on our side. We must marshal all the gold folk of America on the mission to make her great again. And we shall.
