This is the ultimate result of making personal virtue or victimization the source of truth. It stops being about doing the right thing.
The biggest long term danger to Israel is no longer hostile armies but the institutional takeover of its superpower ally by its mortal foes.
As the percentage of the Jewish population falls and its foes increase it assumes a kind of mathematical certainty.
The hope was that powerful narratives could keep the flood at Bay. But the Democratic party bulkhead just failed.

So Maduro, probably with the help of his Russian advisers, has been throttling opposition web sites and content. So he probably thinks the Yanqui wizards have throttled his electricity.
Open question: how long can a regime like Maduro's survive if they can't get the power back on?
Considering the Russians have been blamed on bringing down the Ukranian power grid twice in 2015 and 2016, it's a good bet that Maduro is going to ask the Kremlin to figure this one out.

Socialism almost never loses to human agency. It's too good at propaganda and repression to be beaten by men. What kills it 9 times out of 10, if you will pardon the expression, is God. Grid collapse, famine, pandemic, hyperinflation.
Of course when the hand of God smites the ramshackle socialist enterprise there's a lot of collateral damage. People waiting for pensions that never come, free medicine that never is, electricity that's only a memory.

Kipling will be damned and the only views that will be tolerated are those of the moment. That would be alright if our views were rooted in eternity. But realistically they will be rooted only in expedience.

A look into the largest & most popular belief systems suggest that they believe this as well. Abrahamic religions for example believes that the more rules & instructions you have, the more you can do what you must without worrying about the alternatives.

Buddhism, too, believes the more you understand how to live your life, the better it will become. Every religion gives us instructions proposing that the closer we follow them the happier we will be & the more in-balance we will be living with nature, The Tao or even God.

It's not every day I take a stand a political issue. In reality, just a computer guy who started a Social Network during the com internet boom. Don't know much about politics, despite having spent years around political figures. Spoke up when it seemed like the right thing to do.
So far, there's one thing I've spoken out about, definitively. That is the increasing influence on the U.S. Democratic Party by the Mexican PRI political party. I spoke out about it because I know it's true, it's not understood by Americans, and it's completely wrong. #TRUTH

AIPAC is a lobbyist organization; i.e., its sole functions are to lobby and to generate donations for politicians.

If criticizing AIPAC for doing exactly what it is designed to is considered "antisemitism", that word has absolutely no meaning.
We regularly claim politicians are loyal to the gun/oil/financial industries based on their receipt of donations.

AIPAC—which closely aligns with the right-wing Likud Party in Israel—and politicians it supports shouldn't be immune from similar criticism.
I personally believe AIPAC doesn't serve Israel's interests. It lobbies for full-fledged support of Likud policies which I think are a long-term danger to Israel's existence.

Criticizing AIPAC for advocating and getting politicians to support shitty policies isn't antisemitism.

There has been a lot of movement in the past few weeks on the Carter Page FISA warrant, Bruce Ohr’s texts and emails, etc. For this thread, I am going to be focused in on the FISA warrant.
2. The FISA warrant on Page has been a central point in the Spygate investigation. It's been the subject of leak invest. memos, and foreign intelligence involvement. This thread is meant to be an overview of where we have come from, and where we may be going with these documents.
3. We received a redacted copy of the FISA warrant on Saturday, July 21. It has been alleged that much of this warrant was based around unverified “intelligence” provided by former British spy Christopher Steele. He is “Source 1” in the document. (pg16, Page Wrnt)
