Self-deprecation is a hard habit to quit once you have learned to publicly inflict pain on yourself to distract/derail the hurt others inflict on you.
I don’t agree with her that anger is only a toxic, infectious tension that exists to spread hatred.
I think righteous anger can spur people to turn the tide toward justice.
