The FAA tells @ABC that Air Transat Flight 942 had an indication of a fire in the cargo hold of the Boeing 737 flying from Montreal to Ft Lauderdale.
It diverted to Newark and, according to air traffic control audio, fire responders saw smoke coming from the rear of the hold.

At least 25 flights have been diverted, according to @flightradar24 data, and there will be more.
