Many women online tried to sound the warning that right wing operatives were actively infiltrating gaming and online communities and recruiting you g white dudes for extremism and white supremacy.

We were told it was about “ethics in game journalism.”

We’ve been sounding the alarm while you wrote about the dapper new Nazis. While you smirked with them about SJWs. While you mocked safe spaces, published op-eds about how “the left” is attacking free speech. About how “metoo has gone too far.”

All these scumbags who use Breitbart and other fronts to recruit angry, disaffected dudes and draw them into the cesspools where child porn and hatred of women and white supremacy are normalized under the guise of “free speech” get pass after pass after pass.

Meanwhile the outrage porn media pretends antifa members who stand up to these violent, terrorizing thugs are “just as bad” (as if that’s a thing). Then they hire right wing propaganda peddlers to come and offer “opposing views” on their blood and circuses programming.

All you had to do was listen to the women who have been targeted and harassed. Who saw all this happening in real time. Who saw it for what it was. Who recognized that white nationalism and misogyny are violent bedfellows.

Big tech enables it. The right activates it. The media excuses it.

This cycle must stop.
