1. CYCLONE UPDATE. In Chimanimani Town 5 streets washed away, the mountains around the town gave in & there was massive mudslide. 38 bodies have been recovered by locals undertaking rescue missions. 1 rescuer fell and drowned while leading rescued kids to a shelter #CycloneIdaiZW
2. More than 100 people are still missing. There was massive mist yesterday and no external help has reached Chimanimani as of right now. It is still raining but the mist has cleared up. The people are marooned and all bridges leading out of the town have been destroyed
3. In areas around Copper close to the border, 51 people are reported dead. No help has reached them as of now. Many are missing.
4. We have received a phone call informing us that this wonder place Bridal Veil waterfalls collapsed and will never be the same again.
