Ternyata masih banyak banget yang salah eja nama brand-brand terkenal. Not only that it's embarrassing, it will leave a bad impression about you.

So here goes:
Some famous brand names that people usually mispronounce (and how to pronounce it correctly).

1. IKEA
Kebanyakan orang masih pronounce 'AIKIA', probably because they followed the American pronounce, yang mana salah.
Well let's appreciate where the brand came from and how they pronounce it there; 'IKEA'. Iya, sebagaimana pelafalan Indonesia.

IKEA. Bukan AIKIA. Atau AIKEA.

2. NIKE
Wrong: 'NAIK'
Correct: 'NAIKI'

3. HERMES
Ok, expensive brand that wont come up that much in our life now probably? But when it does, make sure we won't embarrass ourselves.

Wrong: 'HERME', 'ERME', 'HERMES'
Correct: 'ERMES'. With a soft E at the beginning.

4. MOSCHINO
Brand gaul blink-blink yang juga masih banyak banget yang mispronounce.

Wrong: 'MOSCINO'
Correct: 'MOSKINO'

5. HUBLOT

Wrong: 'HUBLOT', 'HUBLO'
Correct: 'UBLO'

6. GIVENCHY

Wrong: 'GIVENCI', 'GIVENSI', GIVANGCI'

Next time someone asked the brand name of your beautiful lipstick, make sure to say 'ZIVONGSHI', with a veryyyy soft 'NG'.

7. BALMAIN

Wrong: 'BOLMEN', 'BALMAIN' BALMANG'
Correct: 'BALMA'

8. ADOBE

Banyaakkkk banget yang masih salah pronouncing ini, padahal udah sering digunakan di kegiatan sehari-hari.

Wrong: 'ADOB', 'EDOB'
Correct: 'EDOBI', dengan soft E, kayak E untuk elang.

9. YVES SAINT LAURENT
Ok to be fair, ini memang gak keliatan mudah untuk dipronounce.

Wrong: 'YIV SEIN LOREN'
Correct: 'IF SANG LOKHANG', pas pronounce 'LOKHANG', bayangin kaya ada reak di ujung kata pas 'KHANG'. I can't describe it better I'm sorry :(

10. LOUIS VUITTON
Everyone knows this brand, only a tiny of them can pronounce it right.

Yang bener itu 'LUI VITONG', with a soft 'NG'.

Bukan 'LUVUTONG', 'LUIS VITTON', apalagi 'LUI VUTONG'.

11. CHANEL

Yang bener itu 'SYANEL', sesimpel itu. Gak perlu diubah jadi 'SCHNEL', atau bahkan 'CHENEL'.

12. COMME DES GARÇONS
I know, I know it's hard.
So, pronouncation yang bener itu 'KOM DE GARSO', ok?

13. GOYARD
Sekarang sedang jadi tas sejuta umat, masih banyak yang mispronounce as 'GOYARD', padahal yang bener adalah 'GOYAH'. Goyah~~

14. LONGCHAMP
Ini pasti masih banyakkkk banget yang mispronounced.

Wrong: 'LONGCAM', 'LONGSYAM'
Correct: 'LONGSHAW'. Jadi huruf MP pada CHAMP dihilangkan.
