First double lesson mainly revision - fig 1 describe distribution on tropical rainforests, complete climate graph for Manaus, review structure of rainforest then evaluate medicinal benefits
Fig 2 describe trends in Brazilian / non- Brazilian rainforest, locate country annual rates on map to evaluate patterns, evaluate causes and impacts, highlight patterns in Asia / S America - use of figs important!
Fig 3 - potential 9 mark - Do you think the proposed road development should go ahead?
Use fig 3 - argue your case for or against.
Paper 3 planning done. We are going with 3 double lessons (1hr 10 mins). No need to over complicate it by going beyond scope of pre-release. Great topic for revision too. Enjoy! #geographyteacher

2/ I think the global atmospheric circulatory model is a threshold concept that meets all six criteria (if this is new to you, check out what @ensermark has to say here: bit.ly/2WHs0eo) so it’s worth teaching, and worth teaching well.
3/ Unbundling the model shows that there are some parts we need to know before looking that whole. We’ve taught low pressure before, in Y7 when we looked at precipitation so we can recap at that alongside introducing high pressure.

His wife kept on lecturing him for his carelessness too when he got home.

You could see the shame, embarrassment and humiliation on his face.

He never stepped foot in the masjid again.

That evening, he went to a bar.
He was still very nervous and was trembling from his shame.

He ordered a drink.

He spilled his drink on the table, the bottle falls by accident too and some of the contents splashed on some of the people around.

Those it splashed rushed towards him.

Paper time! I had the honor to contribute to one of the first Gaia DR2 papers, lead by Tobias Fritz, as part of the HSTPROMO collaboration including @tonysohn, @astronitya, and others. Here's a little thread of what we find.
The title already kind of says it all: "Gaia DR2 Proper Motions of Dwarf Galaxies within 420 kpc: Orbits, Milky Way Mass, Tidal Influences, Planar Alignments, and Group Infall".

The paper presents proper motions for 39 satellite galaxies and candidates, based on spectroscopically confirmed stars. This is similar to @joshuadsimon's recent paper, and our PMs show agreement with his. Our sample includes more distant dwarfs, though.
