The thing to remember about this is that the PM has agreed a course of conduct and dates that are absolutely NOT as instructed by Parl.

Parliament has to look this in the eye and tackle her to the ground on that otherwise ALL other directions from them can be ignored by her.
I am not saying that the EU were unreasonable in the circumstances.

I am saying that May, in ignoring the instruction from Parl gave the clearest possible message that neither she NOR parl could be trusted. She could WOULD ignore them & get away with it

The number 1 priority has therefore got to be that Parliament with vigour and clarity reassert their authority over the executive otherwise trust will be blown.

They do not do this by caving in to May. Just the reverse.

And the EU will be watching.

So will we.
