Match 4: R Ashwin running out Jos Buttler was the biggest talking point of the game. RR lost 7 in the last 5 and fell short by 14 runs. Jaipur witnessed Gaylestorm. Excellent knock from Sarfaraz Khan too. This is KXIP’s first win over RR
Match 5: Shane Watson’s attacking 44 helped CSK in their chase of 148. DJ Bravo took three wickets in two overs to derail the Delhi innings. Two matches and two wins. CSK have begun #IPL2019 with a bang.
Match 6: Yet another game-changing innings from Andre Russell. KKR powered to 218 thanks to Narine’s start, Rana’s powerpacked innings, Uthappa’s stability then Russell’s blitz.

Match 11: Bairstow and Warner hit tons — only the 2nd such instance of 2 batsmen hitting tons in same T20 innings. RCB imploded as they lost by 118 runs. Over dependence on Kohli-ABD quite evident.
Match 12: MS Dhoni rolled back the clock and exhibited his hitting prowess to take CSK to 175 v Rajasthan Royals. Tahir (2/23) stalled Royals’ momentum.

Match 22: KL Rahul powered KXIP to their 7th win on the trot at Mohali. Rahul-Mayank Agarwal stand of 114 runs was the highlight of the inns. The 6-wicket win v SRH took KXIP to 3rd place in the points table. Earlier Warner (70*) hit his slowest ever IPL fifty

Match 26: Shikhar Dhawan (97*) registered his highest T20 score as Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens for the first time since 2012.

Match 28: It was the Virat Kohli-AB de Villiers show at Mohali as RCB finally registered their first win in IPL 2019. Virat-ABD pair now has most p’ship runs in the IPL. In the end RCB won comprehensively by 8 wickets in the final over.

Match 29: Imran Tahir (4/27) registered his best IPL bowling performance to peg back KKR at the Eden Gardens.CSK found a batting hero in Suresh Raina (58* off 42) & Jadeja (31* off 17) to take them over the line. CSK are in some form!
Match 30: Keemo Paul, Kagiso Rabada and Chris Morris picked 10 wickets between them as Delhi Capitals beat SRH by 39 runs. SRH lost their last 8 wickets for 15 runs.

Match 31: Lasith Malinga (4/31) showed his class upon his return to the MI playing XI. Hardik Pandya (37* off 16 balls) finished the game for the Mumbai Indians. Hard luck for RCB. Lost yet another close encounter
Match 32: Ravichandran Ashwin inspired Kings XI Punjab to a fine 12-run win over RR. Scored 17*(4) and took 2/24 (4). Ashwin — the leader — is making an impact in this tournament.
RR is missing someone to finish the games. Tough luck

Excellent effort by the bowlers to restrict CSK to 132.

Krunal and Hardik Pandya added 54 in 28 balls to power MI to 168.

Match 37: Delhi Capitals beat the Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets at the Kotla.
Fifties from Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer powered Delhi Capitals to a fine win.
@DelhiCapitals should qualify for the playoffs from here on.
Match 38: David Warner-Jonny Bairstow register their fourth 100+ partnership in this IPL. The Sydney-Yorkshire pair has complemented each other quite well. Khaleel Ahmed (3/33) was the bowling hero. Big fan of Kane Williamson — the leader.
Match 39: It was a face-off between two superstars and the game was a blockbuster hit. RCB Scored 161 powered by Parthiv Patel’s fifty.

Match 41: Shane Watson (96) powered Chennai Super Kings to a win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
With this win @ChennaiIPL are on 16 points which has almost sealed their playoffs spot. Chepauk has been CSK’s fortress this season (5 on 5 so far)
Match 42: AB de Villiers 82*(44) played a special inns. 64 runs came from the final 3 overs.ABD-Stoinis added 121 for the 5th wicket as @RCBTweets posted 202. In reply KXIP were in the hunt but Yadav-Saini bowled well at the death.
Match 43: Riyan Parag (17 years) played a top knock (47) and helped @rajasthanroyals to another win. Jofra Archer, who was playing his final match of this year’s IPL, took RR home (27* from 12).

Match 45: Jaydev Unadkat (2/26 and three catches) stood out on a slow Sawai Mansingh pitch against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Big win for RR who were without Stokes and Archer. Livingstone made a difference opening the innings.

Match 46: Fifties from Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer took Delhi Capitals to 187. RCB got off to a great start but DC bowlers managed to pull things back.

Match 47: Andre Russell (80* off 40 balls) came in at No.3 in the 10th over and stayed unbeaten till the end. KKR posted a mammoth 232 thanks to Gill-Lynn’s 50s. Hardik Pandya (91 off 34 balls) was unbelievable with his hitting — 9 sixes.

Gopal has now dismissed ABD 4 times in 4 innings and Kohli thrice in three innings in the IPL.
RCB with 9 points have no chance of qualifying for the playoffs. RR have a slim chance
Match 50: Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Capitals by 80 runs to reach on top of the table. After Raina Scored a fifty it was The MS Dhoni show. He scored 44* off 22 balls to power CSK to 179. In reply CSK spinners took 8 wkts and bowled out DC for 99
Match 51: MI become the 3rd team to qualify for the playoffs.
De Kock’s 69* powered MI to 162.

Match 55: Kings XI Punjab beat the Chennai Super Kings in their final match at Mohali.
KL Rahul (71 off 36 balls) Scored an attacking fifty as KXIP finished with 12 points. Another win and they might’ve qualified.
Match 56: Mumbai Indians finished on top of the table after beating KKR by 9 wickets.KKR Scored 24/4 in overs 7-13 (7 ovrs) & lost the plot there. Played 59 dot balls. De Kock (30), Rohit Sharma (55*) & Suryakumar (46*) helped MI chase this down easily

After restricting CSK to 131, MI lost two quick wickets. But Suryakumar Yadav (71*) saw @mipaltan home.

Women’s T20 challenge, Match 2: Velocity beat Trailblazers by 3 wickets. Needing 2 runs to win with 8 wickets in hand, Velocity lost 5 wickets for no run. In the end prevailed. Shefali Verma, 15-year-old, played with confidence and is a star in the making.
Eliminator: Rishabh Pant (49 off 21 balls) played a defining innings and helped @DelhiCapitals win their first ever match in Playoffs. Prithvi Shaw Scored a classy fifty. Turning point was the 18th over of DC innings which went for 22.

Women’s T20 Challenge, Match 3: Jemimah Rodrigues (77* off 48 balls) exhibited her class and helped Supernovas reach the final. Velocity needed 143 to win and 118 to qualify for the final (ended up getting 132). Wyatt, Mithali and Veda amongst runs
Qualifier 2: Chennai Super Kings beat the Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets to reach their 8th IPL final.
CSK showed their experience in a big game and restricted DC to 147. Fifties from du Plessis and Watson made it easy for CSK.
Women’s T20 challenge,final: Supernovas beat Velocity to win the WT20 challenge. Harmanpreet Kaur showed her class yet in a challenging run-chase. Quite a few youngsters displayed good performances. More than 13K people turned up to watch the final. #WIPL is here to stay

MI became the most successful franchise after winning their 4th IPL title. Pollard helped MI reach a score of 149. Bumrah (2/14 from 4) was unbelievable — delivered under pressure yet again
