Such a nice day. Spring cleaning! Which means:

*Picking up the dog poop in the yard
*Vacuuming the dog hair drifts in the corner
*Putting all the dog bed covers and blankets through the wash
*Mopping the kitchen and tile floors
*Opening both doors to get air into the house
*...
*Recalculating for the 11th time how much compost I need
*Wondering how long my shoulder will hold out shoveling mulch
*Enumerating the many remaining garden projects
*Lamenting the budget and required house repairs
*Dying of allergies
*Wondering why books breed but shelves don't
*Staring forlorn at the dog pee holes in the grass
*Being annoyed that suburban people care about grass so much
*Bleaching and refilling the bird feeders
*Scrubbing out the bird bath
*Recalculating for the 134th time how many rocks for the garden walls
*Moving hardier indoor plants out
*Wondering how I spilled so much water over the winter
*Scrubbing up water stains
*Scrubbing the sink
*Scrubbing sink again because old cleaner sprayed... something
*Make third pot of tea
*Trip over dogs for 7000th time
*Wondering how dogs make so much hair in a week
*Stopping for lunch... its covered in dog hair
*Drowning in sea of hair
*Hoping to finish vacuuming before bag explodes with dog hair
*Wondering if alcohol would be a better choice than tea
*Wondering who's bringing in literal balls of half-frozen dirt.
*Taking balls of half frozen dirt back outside
*Vacuuming new dirt from rug
*Replacing dog toys back into bucket for 6745th time
*Wondering if burning the house down counts as spring cleaning
*Remembering burning dog hair reeks and doesn't come out of clothes
*Laundering every possible jacket/sweatshirt to remove dog hair
*Longing for the misery of editing
*Watching dog go straight to toy bucket for 6746th time
*Scrubbing the floor because the mopping wasn't enough
WAIT HOW IS THERE CHEWED UP STICK IN HERE AGAIN!?

*Vacuum... again.
*Filling the bird feeders
*Realizing the yard is full of dog poop... again
