Finally got to the comic store to pick up the last installment of Laguardia by @Nnedi

So sweet, so sad, so hopeful. I mentioned in a subthread, but feel it bears repeating. I LOVE that Dr Okorafor's stories are explicitly presented as pieces of ever expanding story tapestries.
You never get all the ends tied up, because life goes on after. There's never "and they lived happily ever after" because the world continues.

Yes, it also leaves you always wishing there were more, but it also makes it feel like there IS more, even if you don't get to read it.
So, in short, GO to your local comic book store and GET THIS COMIC. Because it's lovely and sweet and strong and hopeful and the art is amazeballs and expressive. Will be passing on my copies to a friend who NEEDS to see it and buying the collection as soon as my store has it.
