I've heard the headlines about 25 being full maturiy but now that I'm reading an article about it, it seems very fishy to me.

They took 19 college freshman that moved 100miles to attend a new college. Then used 25-35 year olds as a control group. Hello, if you place a person in a totally new environment their brain activity will change. This is called gaining experiences.
I dont know. I will have to read more about it but this really doesn't sound like a good experiment. Too many variables. Where the younger people drinking during this time, taking drugs, having sex? Did they have a support system at home? Did the co trol group have jobs. Married?
Maturity depends on many things. Does the brains grow quicker if kids are giving responsibility? So many questions. Makes you question the whole study.

1. Let's take a closer look at the 2018 midterm results for the House. Many people don't understand how close it was. Dems won 40 seats. Sounds big right? Meh. They needed 23 to take control. So basically they are only +17 in the 🏠. For the GOP to win it back they need +18
2. But let's dig a bit deeper into those 18 seats that cost the GOP control of the 🏠 for the "muh we are all doomed" crowd and the "demographic" crowd.

3. 4 of the 18 was due to dem court ordered redistricting in PA. So now we are down to 14 seats.
4. These are the 14 closest races from 2018 that I could find. (CA21, CA39, ME2, IA3, SC1, OK5, FL26, GA6, NJ3, NM2, NY22, UT4, VA2, VA7)

5. The biggest spread was IA3 with 7709 votes and the smallest was UT4 with 694.

I hesitated 'cuz I feared I'd be helping to hurt another VA’s career. Dog-piling. After all, I have never witnessed these things myself. Granted, he’s been placed next to me in signing areas many times, but I never watched. Also, his crowds were huge, blocking my view.

Some former bloggers expressed concern about the purchase by @science2_0. Rightly so, and not just because they posted embarrassing Nazi-sympathetic and antisemitic nonsense.
A step back. In 2008, back when @scienceblogs was popular, a man named @hankcampbell founded a for-profit corporation, ION Publications, LLC. Hank apparently launched a few low-quality "science blogging" websites of his own: sciblogs.com, sciencecodex.com...

Took a second look at the @TheRalphRetort WSJ article. This section here tells us “YouTube got rid of Ralph’s channels after WSJ contacted Google about it.”
^^ we can further back this up by a later portion of the piece, which shows a similar pattern of action taken in @JFGariepy ‘s case.
The most troubling thing about @TheRalphRetort WSJ piece is that Ralph HIMSELF isn’t depicted as someone committing wrongdoing. IT’S ALL THE AUDIENCE. This is a key point of interest, here.

I've been experiencing a pretty severe return to dysphoria lately, and I know I'm not supposed to tweet, but I don't see many people talking about this outside Dark Side spaces, and that makes me lonely, so fuck it, I'm tweeting.
My dysphoria now (at 8 months full-time trans & HRT) is the worst it's ever been. That seems very discouraging at first, because isn't transitioning supposed to fix this? Well, yes, but there's a reason it's gotten worse.
In order for me to start transitioning in the first place, I had to get to a point where I was comfortable with goals that seemed achievable at the time. So my thinking was: "I just want to be more feminine, I don't have to look female to feel good about myself."
