I'm looking through this list of options that was voted yesterday. And we've overlooked something.

Some of the options are about our exit mechanism.
Some of them are about the future relation
So for example

B. (no deal Brexit) That's a question of the manner of leaving

H. The EFTA option. That's a question of future relation.
And what parliament has misunderstood is that you have only got three options in the manner of leaving.

1. May's deal (Rejected twice and now ruled inadmissable).

2. Leave with no deal

3. Revoke Article 50
All the other options last night were about future relation. Common market, customs union, EFTA etc.
But none of those options can overcome the need to sign a withdrawal agreement.
So with everything that's been ruled out, voted out or completely missing the point of the withdrawal agreement, your options can be narrowed down to two.

Option B: No deal Brexit

Option L: Revoke Article 50

Two of the least popular options, but one is going to happen
Theresa May's deal is gone. There is no withdrawal agreement. It was offered twice and rejected twice.
There is no other withdrawal agreement for you to leave upon.

You leave with nothing or you don't leave at all.

That's the choice you have to make.

If we go back to the indicative votes, we put them in two categories. One group was exit terms, and the other group was for future relations.

Any future relation still needs a withdrawal agreement, which has been rejected.
So things like "customs union" we can put aside because that would still need a withdrawal agreement.

What we need is just the options for how to deal with the withdrawal agreement itself.
Option 1. No deal Brexit. (Ignore the withdrawal agreement and leave anyway)

Option 2. Revoke Article 50

Option 3. Confirmatory referendum

And that's it, just those three. They're the only ones that deal with the withdrawal agreement itself.

What we know is that may's withdrawal agreement will never work. She's tried everything with it, and it just won't get through.

Whatever happens now is not going to be that.
May's deal has failed in every form she's tried.

Parliament or country will never accept no deal. We all know this, and it's not going to happen.

So the only option is that we are going to abandon it. Revoke Article 50.
And looking through the indicative votes from earlier in the week, the most support was for a confirmatory referendum.

What's not going to happen is May's deal. Twice with the political declaration, and once in the bare bones.
Her withdrawal agreement will never get through parliament.
Let's make a few decisions, then. we're not crashing anywhere. So we're going to ask for the long extension.
Which means we are now bound to have European elections.
Which means we're not going to leave.
It was a bit of an anticlimax, really, but I think we just saw Brexit die.

No withdrawal agreement, no leaving without one, staying for elections. All that's left is to admit publicly that Brexit has failed.

It all began quite well. Another evil empire was confronted & beaten, that of the Nazis. U.S. troops were heroes as they arrived, albeit belatedly to help embattled Britain as she fought valiantly & single-handedly against the purest evil of those days.

WWII was the U.S.A. at her best. At home tho people were unsure whether they had anything to gain by being involved. Many said they did not. And at least 20,000 who attended a Nazi rally in New York in 1939 would have fought with the Nazis if they could.

Yesterday I asked for recommendations of recent or forthcoming UK debut novels and I got loads of wonderful suggestions. Looking through them I noticed that they were all by white writers, so this morning and went back to Twitter to ask the same but by writers of colour…
...and, my word, I got an amazing list out of it, including some of these beauties.
But, of course, I also received tweets along the lines of 'why are you prioritising non-white authors?', 'sure the colour of an author's skin is irrelevant?' and 'you may not know why your request is wrong but it is wrong'.

Those who did receive obits were often comical. When she died in 1953, Frida Kahlo was referred to in the first sentence as the “wife of Diego Rivera,” and later as a painter.
