This is a fucking outrage.
No matter what Parliament says, no matter what May pretends, it always, always comes down to this: lying to MPs’ faces, using con trick after con trick to trap them into accepting the generational humiliation of May’s deal or the unprecedented catastrophe of no deal at all.
Whatever MPs protest, the government does not care. They will have their way, even if it takes the most unprecedented cynicism, dishonesty and bad faith to deliver it. It is the worst government in our modern history and it’s only getting started.
