25 years ago, when Chandrababu Naidu was CM of 'United Andhra Pradesh' (1995-2004 ) he had a long term dream 'VISION 2020' which attained him the title "The Visionary Leader".

In 1999, he was re-elected as CM for 2nd term winning 185/289 seats with electoral promise of FREE POWER to the farmers. But eventually power tariffs reached all time new high. For 3 consecutive years, severe drought hit the state & suicide of 3000 farmers.
