Note the 4th field of Mahar-Loka (Moon), & Rasatala/Sun (lower-aspect of Sun/slight-fall), ruled over by Mercury (signify Kama). In the tarot-6 of Lovers of the Queen's purple-scale is the Mercury/Hermes. In the physical-plane, Rasatala is associated w/Africa. Africa has to play-
-a major-role in Aquarius (quite sure of it). An example, see how rapidly the African population is "BLOOMING"! Vayu's color ranges from Red (Mars) to Purple (different hue), & Blue (RAHU/Saturn). North-Western direction is associated w/Air-element (relative) in Indian-astrology.
There are 8 Vasus, & Aha is the Vayu/Air-element of the 8-Vasus. Maharshi Vasistha's curse is mostly extreme for the Sky-Vasu Prabhāsa (Aha should also be associated to some extent w/Sky-Vasu). Sri Krishna mentions Himself as Pāvaka Vasu, which has been associated w/Anala (Agni).
Dhanistha Nakshatra (23rd or 24th) is associated w/the 8-Vasu, where Capricorn is the mundane ruler/stability & Aquarius is exalted. In Mahabharata, one should see that Hanumana (Manas, Vayu-Soma, Sutala, Vaikhari) was/is the stabilizing/protection-force for the Arjuna's chariot!
Since Moon is itself the Foundational, so it was/is likely signifying Āshleshā Nakshatra.
Āshleshā (आश्लेषा) (The Embracer)
Lord: Budha (Mercury)
Symbol: Serpent
Deity : Sarpas or Nagas, deified snakes
Indian zodiac: 16°40′ – 30° Moon;
All 4 in Karka/Moon.
Similarly in Aquarius,
where Mercury is exalted, & Mercury rules over Earth/Airy-elements, so the mundane-ruler or the stabilizing-force has to be the controlling-element for the (tumultuous) Airy-elements.
3-Nakshatras I would like to point out:
Dhanishta (श्रविष्ठा) (Richest One)
Lord: Mangala (Mars)
Symbol : Drum or flute
Deity : Eight vasus, deities of earthly abundance
Indian zodiac: 23°20′ Capricorn – 6°40′ Aquarius;
2 parts in Makar and other Parts in Kumbha

[Dhanistha's enmity w/Margashirsha]

Mrigashīrsha (म्रृगशीर्षा) (Head of a Deer)
Lord: Mangala (Mars)
Symbol: Deer’s head
Deity: Soma, Chandra, the Moon god
Indian zodiac: 23° 20′ Taurus – 6° 40′ Gemini;
2 Part in Vrishabha and other 2 in Mithuna

And,

Uttara Phalgunī (उत्तर फाल्गुनी) (Latter Reddish One)
Lord: Surya (Sun)
Symbol: Four legs of bed, hammock
Deity: Aryaman, god of patronage/favours
Indian zodiac: 26°40′ Leo- 10° Virgo;
1 Part in Simha and other three in Kanya.
Another Nakshatra that effects on the very important role is Punarvasu where Mercury & the Moon sits together!! Mercury Dislikes Moon while Moon has Affection
for Mercury. "Moon-landing" & "Moon-blasting" (of America/Russia) maybe the direct taunts of how hated/conquerable the Moon is in Mercury, the Boss in Aquarius!?
Punarvasu (पुनर्वसु) (Return of the Light)
Lord: Guru (Jupiter)
Symbol : Bow and quiver
Deity : Aditi, mother of Gods,
Indian zodiac: 20° Gemini – 3°20′ Moon;
3 Part in Mithun & 1 part in Karka.
Anyway, Bhishma Pitamah is said to be the 8th Vasu in MahaBharata, & hence has to suffer the most of Vasistha's curse. It's like saying Wisdom– the mundane ruler, & Worldly-Worthlessness is Exalted, etc.
