This is beyond embarrassing and offensive. The bills in question relate to punishing sanctuary cities and insisting local authorities cooperate with federal authorities.
These bills will have almost no impact on legal immigrants or other Americans. The intentional attempts to conflate all "immigrants and people of color" with illegal aliens is incredibly offensive to those communities.
Feel free to support less enforcement and amnesty policies, but don't lie and insult people by suggesting that simple advocacy for cities to enforce laws against illegal immigration is an attack on minorities or legal immigrants.
Also, when you are consistently attacking any attempts to enforce immigration laws and smearing anyone who advocates for such enforcement, don't act surprised that you get labeled as supporters of open borders.
