John Lennox is also very good. Trent Horn. Ed Feser. A few others. I think unfortunately there are a lot of very weak apologists who are mainly in the business of catering to an audience that already agrees with them while making fools of themselves in debates against atheists.
The guys I listed are the strong ones, not weak. Just to be clear.
A lot of people are saying Ravi Zacharias. I haven't followed him closely. I've seen him in a few debates/discussion forums. I thought he was good. I'll have to spend more time with his work.

The hatred of cargo shorts is unfair, especially coming from women. My wife always wants me to carry her ID and phone when we go out because she doesnt feel like bringing a purse. But if I wear shorts with extra pockets to accommodate, suddenly Im the nerd? That's fake news folks
And if I try wearing a fanny pack, she really gets bent out of shape. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.
Let me tell you this: a man in cargo shorts, a fanny pack, and velcro shoes is a man who knows how to combine practicality and stylishness. A real keeper, ladies. Be on the lookout.

People who get this passionate about dogs are literally insane, in a clinical sense
This is a middle aged woman by the way. Probably would seem pretty normal if you bumped into her on the street. But behind the scenes she’s sending deranged sexually charged screeds to people on Twitter who don’t like dogs enough
By the way considering this maniac dragged my wife into it, I feel I’d be justified including her Twitter handle, name, and picture with this screenshot. I won’t, but it’s not smart to send stuff like this and trust that your target will be kind enough to afford you anonymity.

Thread: Reflections on a Saturday Morning

1. My wife and I recently moved into our partially built new house in one of the reddest of red states. As you might expect, we’re dealing with hundreds of boxes – sort of like a poor man’s Christmas in opening each one.
2. I am a miser when it comes to books I’ve read; some of you can relate, I’m sure. Anyway, one book I found in one of the boxes was my copy of Luther’s Small Catechism that I used during confirmation classes in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod when I was 13 years old.
3. Back then, to be confirmed one had to virtually memorize the catechism and then recite portions of it in response to the pastor’s questions during a formal confirmation interrogation before the entire congregation. At 13, most of us were quaking in our boots during that event!

Have you ever debated someone, presenting your most powerful arguments, only to be met with a brick wall of resistance? If this is you, chances are you're speaking a language your audience doesn't understand.
Note: The following is based on Aristotle's observations. It's generalized to help you understand how people think, but nothing here is 100% applicable in all situations. I'm also not saying rhetoric is bad. Having gotten that out of the way, we continue...
There are three modes of persuasion:

Dialectic: through reasoned arguments.
Rhetoric: through appeals to emotions.
Pseudo-dialectic: looks like dialectic, but is really rhetoric.
