1.When @HouseJudiciary issues a subpoena it must give reasonable time to comply and when IRS fails to @RepJerryNadler must seek order to show cause to hold witness in contempt. Time consuming.

I'd file an application for writ of mandamus on the Trump taxes to tee it up faster.
2. Judiciary and intel have enough now to show @realDonaldTrump is mob money launderer who conspired in 2016. Make a record he is conspiring with the Russians now. If Barr redacts then Report has zero evidentiary value and should be stricken for concealment and obstruction.
3. At a minimum the full #MuellerReport will have to be given to the district court along with Trump's tax returns. In a long march, you must start by taking the first step. 😎

1. I distinctly remember what, at the time, I believed were reports accurately sourced to Mueller OSC, that Mueller would only issue "a report" on obstruction. I recall agreeing with it because anything after inauguration would implicate Presidential immunity. IMO Congress' job.

I don't see any indication that he says he's wrapped up his work. All we have is Barr statements.

I believe there is a high likelihood Barr is a Russian intel
3. asset along with several other Kirkland & Ellis top DOJ officials all with Russian connections. The @FBIWFO @NSAGov @CIA should wall Barr and all related officials from any SCI until Mueller can speak publicly. We are at war with Russia. And our DOJ may be in enemy hands

1. Congress is branch empowered to remove a tyrant. Congress is demanding evidence that may expose a tyrant. Barr is obstructing Congress. That is a federal crime. See 18 USC 1505. DOJ needs a special counsel & or @SpeakerPelosi must impeach Barr.

1/ In light of the SEC's motion asking the federal district court judge to hold $TSLA's Elon Musk in contempt, let's consider the legal standard and then speculate a bit about the possible actions the court might take.
2/ We have some great assistance here, as the Hon. U.S. District Court Judge Alison J. Nathan wrote an opinion two years ago, deciding a contempt motion and setting forth her reasoning. (h/t @ko_strad for calling the opinion to my attention)
3/ As often happens with federal district court decisions, the opinion is not published in any official reporter system, but it can be found on WestLaw or Pacer, etc. The case is called Church & Dwight Co., Inc. v SPD Swiss Precision Diagnostics GMBH.

What the SEC has done is ask Judge Nathan to issue an Order to Show Cause, which she will almost assuredly do now that the SEC has formally asked. (This is the same thing PlainSite's founder @AaronGreenspan asked Judge Nathan to do in two letters over the past two weeks.)
@AaronGreenspan An Order to Show Cause requires the target(s), in this case the defendants (Musk/Tesla), to prove that they didn't do something wrong (violate the Consent Orders/the law). It starts with the baseline assumption that they did, but gives them one last chance to defend themselves.
@AaronGreenspan The evidence here is sufficiently damning—note the use of bold by the SEC—that it won't matter much what Musk's lawyers write now. The combination of having already paid $40 million in combined fines, plus thumbing his nose on 60 Minutes, is a pretty grave situation for him.

I’m covering opening arguments of the first federal trial over claims that Monsanto’s Roundup causes cancer this morning. The line to get into the courtroom was hella long.
Judge Chhabria is in the courtroom and asked attorneys if there are any issues he needs to address before bringing in the jury. Both sides are asking the judge to reconsider some pre-trial rulings, mostly re what's admissible during the 1st causation phase of this 2-phase trial.
Judge Chhabria isn't budging on any of his pre-trial rulings. He's calling in the jury in a few minutes.

The #NRA is a powerful functioning arms industry #lobby masquerading as a 501(c)4 #nonprofit membership organization, claiming to educate the public about the interests of its members. Here’s why we need to stop this lie and strip it of nonprofit status:
If you do the math, with 5 million members x $40 annual dues, the #NRA should have an annual budget of about $200 million dollars as a membership organization.
However, the NRA'S total budget was over $400 million in 2016 because more than half of its budget comes from individual and corporate contributions and selling advertising in publications and events.

Also, these records show that Papadopoulos was arrested July 27 — not 3 weeks ago. Was sealed to let him "serve as a proactive cooperator".
