Don't know if it's been brought up, but @F_Molinari is the seventh player to shoot 13-under or better through 54 holes at @TheMasters. Of the other six, only Greg Norman (1996) failed to win. #TheMasters

15-under: Ray Floyd (1976), Tiger Woods (1997)
14-under: Jack Nicklaus (1965)
13-under: Seve Ballesteros (1980), Greg Norman (1996)

Of note, the best any of the previous six players to shoot 13-under or better through 54 holes shot in the final round was a 69, which Nicklaus (1965) and Woods (1997) did. Floyd (1976) and Spieth (2015) shot 70, Ballesteros (1980) shot 72, and Norman (1996) shot 78. #TheMasters

An update on that. Molinari joined Norman as the second to shoot 13-under after 54 hole to not win, with his 2-over 74 dropping him to a tie for fifth place behind Tiger Woods, who won his fifth @TheMasters, 22 years and a day after he won his first. #TheMasters

I suspected he might be in trouble because he had made just one bogey in the first 54 holes, because in golf, whenever a player goes on a run like that for the first three rounds, the odds almost always even out and the bogeys and double bogeys come at the worst time. #TheMasters
