i just really want us to be great again, so if we also need to put the now state-orphaned 12-year old daughter of a KIA veteran into a debtor's prison or something so that a red hatted shirt pastry in Ada Oklahoma can feel joy again i'm totally down to make that happen

They have to impeach.
If they won’t impeach they may as well not have taken the House.

This is about whether or not there effectively still is a Congress.
I really have no time for this too-clever 8th dimensional chess.

This isn’t a narrative, it’s blatant obstruction—obstruction upon obstruction.

Trump’s narrative is that he didn’t do anything impeachable. NOT impeaching him plays into that narrative.

Maybe the number 1 thing I’m looking for in 2020 is a pledge to investigate trump thoroughly and indict as needed, no pardons.

Not for revenge.
Or even primarily accountability.

Because it demonstrates the political will we’re going to need if we’re to accomplish the rest.
Our problems are caused by deliberate abuses by powerful people.

If we don’t realize that we have to enforce the consequences of justice on the powerful in its most flagrant form, then we won’t do it elsewhere.

And if we’re unwilling to fight that fight, then we won’t fight it.
I’m looking for someone who has absolutely no time to hear the hypocritical squealing of Republicans, who are happy to fight hard to harm others, but will protest endlessly anyone who dares fight back to protect and restore.

Good evening folks! I want to tell y’all a story. It is full of first times. My first trip to rural, northern Nigeria. My first real encounter with a person living with HIV. My first (and only) experience with burukutu. And possibly, the first seed of TJ sprouting in my head.
It was 2008. I’d been working at the Clinton Health Access Initiative for 3 months. We lived in this building in Wuse 2 that we called the Iraqi palace, because it was huge and had marble floors- though the A/Cs and other electronics had all been fried during a changeover mishap.
We had a gateman named Salisu who was from Kano and in love with me (and who later broke free from the quasi-slavery or being a gateman in Abuja and ended up becoming a driver for a family in Maitama) and a “house boy” and a gardener who were cousins from Bauchi State.

In Taos for a detention hearing on the 5 suspects arrested at a NM compound. Suspects have walked into the courtroom. Hearing about to begin.
Prosecutors making an opening statement: Prosecutor says suspect Siraj Wahhaj took several firearms classes in rapid succession in 2015. In 2017 he made a trip to Saudi Arabia. When he came back he told his wife he wanted a divorce.
Prosecutors now discussing a rollover crash last year where several children were hospitalized. Siraj Wahhaj was armed and several other guns were found in addition to a bullet proof vest.

Very interesting. Trump's second pardon of his presidency. Remember Saucier argued that he did much less than Hillary and got much worse. Trump even used this during the campaign.
I wonder is this in preparation for something of great consequence?
By granting a pardon is Trump clearing all legal roadblocks to Hillary's case? It's an interesting theory. Sauciers lawyers would have petitioned saying that he was unfairly treated. This way Trump is preemptively removing that possibility
I've been trying to make a thread about this case. It is the most bizarre thing ever. I get a "failed to send tweet message" everytime I try to post something against Hillary or about gun control. I guess they think people would just give up trying again and again. Quite devious
