New: Labour are investigating yet another council candidate after The Telegraph passed the party social media posts they had shared.

Elaine Lightfoot is due to stand as a candidate in next month's local elections in West Devon. In August last year she shared the following post on her Facebook account:

Three weeks later, she shared a photo posted by David Icke, the notorious conspiracy theorist, which displayed a picture of Prince Charles standing alongside Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, a British financier, accompanied by the words “where the real power lies”.
The Holocaust Educational Trust claim her behaviour is further evidence of people spreading "pernicious Jew hatred" online.
Dame Margaret has called for her immediate suspension.
