My name is Jeff, not @AndrewYang, but I think it’s far more likely that @ewarren’s debt cancellation plan will produce a bumper crop of people qualified to be employed in a society where most of the manual labor is actually performed by robots?
I think the number of people who’d choose to go to college because of debt forgiveness and wouldn’t turn those degrees into something societally productive is de minimus, @Noahpinion
(To be clear: teaching is societally productive—and I doubt we’d have a surplus of qualified teachers either)

putting language into approps bills saying "no money shall be spent on X." He keeps saying "that was just a thought piece" & that he wasn't actually taking a position, &he said it again in response to a question from @SenBlumenthal. But this simply isn't true.

I don't actually agree with the entire comment (it's both long AND pithy). But that quote, and the argument that there is only conservatism (defining of outgroups) and anti-conservatism, or resistance to conservatism was a hard viewpoint reset.
