If the person/institution is stonewalling, being a bully, outright lying &/or inflicting harm they are to be dealt with with an unrelenting, powerful, overwhelming action...Now.
If there is a conversation w some sense of common values then there is room for conversation.

If there is a common devotion to core values and principles then what is at issue in a disagreement, most often, is point of view and/or emphasis, a view of the part not yet fully encompassing the whole... so room for learning by listening & engaging.
But someone who is gaming the system, using the goodwill and intentions of one side to stall, dominate, fleece, distract, overwhelm, confuse, hide, lie, & etc... Essentially a "Win at all costs" Machiavellian engagement has to be met with the full force of ones insight & truth.
It is said Truth will eventually win out, and the long arc of history bends towards justice. And so it is. But only as the battles such as the ones we are having, and are going to have, are enjoined w a clear purpose to remove the cancer and somehow heal the nation.
Watching Guiliani yesterday and watching how Tr dances his little authoritarian dance of delight every time he succeeds in changing the subject and dimming the light on his miscreant deeds it is clear the only response that can be effective is full on, outright gathering
of all the resources, appeals to justice, the bedrock principles of the constitution and move, now, with unflinching resolve. The fight must be grounded in these greater vision & principles in the first place, not be animated by personal emotion or vendetta. Else the "battle"
becomes one of ego & will. Lincoln, as ever, says it best...
"Let us have faith that Right makes Might...and do our duty".

The forces and powers that are tapped into by the Trump sector are not weak, they are strong as they appeal to the deepest unconscious fears, dreads and hatreds. To combat such things it will not due to simply replace one set with another. I know that is more likely. But
if this is all the "other side" the #Resist can muster then it is a battle that looses whoever the victor.

and another that is weak, motivated out of frustration & anger, that will fail.
In short - we need a higher calling than just "get rid of Trump" in order to more powerfully engage.

IMO the syndrome that is Trump needs to be countered w clear understanding who & what is happening. No more falling for the diversions.
