When seeking to jail for contempt, you want to show the judge a clear documentary record that you’ve used every other option, accommodated the obstinate witness all you could, and jail is the only choice.
So, though I agree with most that subpoenas should have been issued sooner, and MUST come now, that is the reason for all the muhfuggin letters that try our patience. The letters, paradoxically, show a serious intent to jail the testimony-truants. They are like a ladder to jail.
I am impatient, just like the rest of us, but where I disagree is on the timing, not the larger strategy of ensuring that judges won’t feel like Dems rushed to judgment on a witness who was sincerely seeking an accommodation.

No fascist movement has ever NOT slaughtered the people it accuses of infanticide. Another slaughter takes place every few days, now.

Stalin’s pogroms whipped ppl up with false infanticide accusations. It is a mainstay of dictators. A KNOWN mainstay. It is dreadful, horrific, false, ridiculously so. But not new. And if you weren’t expecting this, you haven’t been watching the Christofascist movement develop.
The false infanticide accusations were dubbed “The Blood Libel” by European Jews, who saw mobs rage after their property and lives shortly after the lie went viral.

Trump’s getting this line from Stephen Miller’s white fascist movement. It’s not a fringe. It’s not a joke.

More than a year ago, I was asked to do the impossible. Help build an algorithm that could tease out what statehouse bills were created from model legislation (ie copy-paste legislation). Along with a terrific team @USATODAY and @azcentral. We did it. Here’s how. (THREAD)
We examined almost 1 million bills in all 50 statehouses and Congress from 2010 to 2018. We compared them to a database of more than 2,000 model bills that we collected by hand. We used a method similar to how plagiarism is detected.

#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
