I saw a melanistic red fox yesterday. And yes actually, it did change my life.
Here it is just existing. It doesn’t need to do anything more than that to be among the most incredible things I’ve ever seen.

I’m seeing a couple FAQ’s so let me answer them real quick. “Melanistic” refers to individuals that have an atypical, over-expression of melanin, the pigment that produces dark colors like black and brown. In other words it produces black or mostly black individuals.
