So! A #Bakudeku Sabrina AU where Katsuki is the older son of the super mega rich high society Bakugou family, Denki is his younger brother (they’re both blonds, work with me here), and Izuku is the son of the long time housekeeper to the Bakugous.
#seeressramblings #bnha #sabrina
The 3 basically grew up together, Katsuki & Denki in the mansion of course. Izuku & his mom in the rooms above the kitchen. They had run of the estate growing up coz Izuku was a sweet child, well liked by Mitsuki & Masaru, and Inko a gentle mother figure to the 2 Bakugou boys.
Katsuki is older, had always aimed to be the best and was groomed from the beginning to be the head of the powerful Bakugou conglomerate.
This left pretty boy Denki without much family expectations and he coasted through most of his life partying and dating girls (and boys, he’s an equal opportunitist).
Deku was closer to Denki in age and was always a bit intimidated by Katsuki’s fierceness, so he ended up following Denki around like a puppy when they were younger, and like a LOVESICK puppy when they got a bit older.
It was causing some embarrassing scenes because while Izuku was a sweet child who grew up to be a sweet scrawny teenaged boy, he was still the housekeeper’s son, and Denki is also becoming a handful with his playboy shenanigans and all the calls to the principal’s office.
So Mitsuki arranged for Izuku to live with their good friend Toshinori in the US where he can grow up, learn life skills, hopefully get over his impossible crush on Denki.
And at the same time, this will diffuse the brewing situation at home because Mitsuki will throttle her own son if he breaks Izuku’s heart and they end up losing Inko in the process, who's been with her since they were young girls.
Years pass as they always do. Masaru had a heart attack from too much work stress a couple of years ago and Katsuki is now head of the Bakugou business empire. Mitsuki is still active in the business but mostly in the advisory capacity leaving her son to run the show.
Denki did (eventually) finish that business degree, has had several scandals with actresses and male models, and doesn’t quite know what day it is but knows he’s always up for some fun and excitement.
Except that now he’s engaged. To a really gorgeous and wonderful guy named Eijirou. Denki isn’t quite sure how that happened, he was having a good time and sure he thinks Eijirou was too.
But then once when Denki was still blissed out from some great bedroom activities, he somehow popped the question and Eijirou said yes and before Denki knew it he had fiance.
He was sort of expecting his family to bail him out of this scandal yet again but the Bakugous are VERY friendly with the Kirishimas and Mitsuki was over the moon at the engagement thinking that Eijirou would be a good calming influence on her son.
It didn’t hurt that the Kirishimas were sitting on a particularly tasty piece of cutting edge technology that Katsuki had been wanting to get his hands on. Eijirou’s father agreed to a joint business venture, in keeping with the joining of their families.
So here was Denki, at the Narita airport, having just dropped off Eijirou who will be attending a international conference for a couple of weeks. He was a little wistful because Eijirou really was a nice guy with abs to die for and Denki thinks he will miss him.
When he spots a GORGEOUS guy smiling at him. He was tall, but not too tall. Lean, finely muscled body wrapped in classic but fashionable clothes. Denki looks behind him but there was no one there, looks back to this absolutely scrumptious creature and tentatively smiles back.
The guy’s smile becomes brighter if that was even possible. So of course, Denki had to approach. The guy was even more gorgeous up close. Impossibly green eyes positively brimming with delight...
soft green curls shaved close to the scalp on the sides and back but allowed to grow in stylish disarray at the top. There were a dusting of freckles on his cheeks, making Denki wonder where else he had them, and a dimple on his left cheek that kept winking at him.
“Hi,” says Denki.

“Hi!”

“Hello,” he says again.

“Hello. It’s really good to be back.”

“Ah, yes, of course! It always is. Umm. May I give you a lift?” Denki asked, still at a loss but he had been raised to be polite & he DEFINITELY wanted to get to know this man more.
“Oh! I was going to take the train. Are you on your way home?”

“Uh, yes! I am. Where can I bring you?”

The man chuckles, low and sweet sounding. “You don’t remember me.”
“Me? Not remember you! How can someone who has met you not remember you? I mean look at you. Of course I remember you. Uh, where can I drop you off. Maybe we can have dinner after?”

The man laughed outright.
“I’m going to Denenchofu”, the man said, naming a wealthy exclusive neighbourhood where Denki has, of course, lived all his life.

“That’s where I live!”

“What a coincidence!” the man said, laughing delightedly
It was an hour and a half drive and Denki spent it trying to figure out who the man beside him was. He obviously knew Denki but refused to give his name, saying they can have dinner as Denki wants if he guesses correctly. The man seemed amused, pleased. Denki was fascinated.
As they neared their destination, the man named a street and Denki turned in surprise.

“But that’s where I live!”

“That’s convenient.

“There’s no other house there! The entire block belongs to my family.”

“Then you better take me to your place then,” the man smiled impishly.
Denki drove up to the gate and up the long driveway and stopped the car in front of the house. The man moved to get out and Denki scrambled to get out as well.

“Wait! Here? You’re really getting out here?”
While Denki was still gaping, Katsuki appeared along the path from the garden, a sheaf of papers in his hands. He stopped at seeing the young man. He looked at him long enough to cause a blush to color the freckled cheeks.
“Deku,”

“Hi, Kacchan,” he smiled shyly.

(“Deku?!”)

“You look all grown up.”

“Thanks. It’s been a while.”

(“Izuku Deku?”)

“Good flight?”

“It was uneventful,”

(“Midoriya Izuku Deku?!!”)
“What the hell is your problem, dunce face?” Katsuki turns to Denki.

“Umm, I’m gonna go see my mom," Izuku says. "I’ll just grab my luggage later. Thanks for the ride, Denki-kun.”

He smiled brightly, gave a little wave before walking away.
Denki stared at the retreating figure. Katsuki frowned at his brother.

“No.”

“What do you mean no?” Denki asked, tearing his eyes away from the way the pants lovingly moulded Izuku’s ass.

“I mean, no You are an engaged man and you will not screw this up.”
“I’m not screwing up anything.” Denki said.

Katsuki snorted. “Keep your pants on and your hands to yourself. Deku is OFF LIMITS.”

“I’m not doing anything!”
“OFF LIMITS!” Katsuki said over his shoulder as he walked away. The little nerd is back and he’s not so little anymore. Katsuki could sense a headache coming. He really doesn’t need this.

Izuku went to the kitchens practically skipping with delight. He’s home for the first time in years and he couldn’t have hoped for a better reaction from Denki! Those years with Yagi bettering himself had paid off.
He stood by the kitchen door, observing the familiar chaos the precedes one of the famous Bakugou parties. It’s Mitsuki’s birthday and there will be a grand celebration later.
There are some new faces but a lot of the house staff have been with the family since before Izuku was born and had watched him grow up.

Someone eventually noticed him and a shriek went off.

“Izuku!!”
Izuku was enveloped in hugs and back slaps and got his hair ruffled in affection. Everyone parted to give way to a crying Inko. He wasn’t much taller than her when he left, now she barely reached his chin.

“Everything’s fine now. I am here.”

“Oh, Izuku.”
She indulged in a few minutes of crying then firmly pushed him away. There was too much to do and supervise before the guests arrived.

“I’ll leave you to this then,” Izuku said, “I need to get ready for the party anyway. I’ve been invited!” he said cheerfully.
“Invited?!” Inko asked, surprised, still wiping her tears away.

“Yes, by Denki-kun. Although when he did, he didn’t know who I was,” he said sheepishly.

Inko frowned. “And now that he does?”

“I’m still invited! Of course. I think,” he said brightly.

“Izuku, honey —“
“Mom, Denki invited me. All those years that he didn’t see me, he finally sees me now. He invited ME. I have to go.”

“Izuku -“

“I’m gonna go, you’re busy here.” He kissed Inko on the forehead, and hurriedly left the kitchen, unwilling to listen to his mother’s misgivings.
Izuku had spent a lot of evenings growing up, hiding up the branches of a tree looking down at one of the Bakugou parties - the sophisticated music, the pretty lights, the waiters in their bow ties, the champagne.
All the beautiful men and women in their equally beautiful, expensive clothes. Wishing he was there. Wishing he was the one dancing with handsome Denki.

Now he got invited.

============
Katsuki spent the evening with a champagne flute in one hand and his phone pressed to his ear, conducting business. It was night time in Tokyo but the stock market was open in New York.
He was by the edge of the party, nodding his head at guests, keeping away from the noise, when he saw him.

Deku. In a finely tailored pants, crisp long sleeved shirt, and a dark green vest that played off his hair and the green of his eyes. He looked…he looked really good.
Katsuki watched the crowd part, people looking at Deku with interest. He was beautiful, yes, but an unfamiliar face in a gathering of rich people and famous faces. There was speculative interest in their eyes that made Katsuki frown, missing what was being said on the phone.
He turned away, irritated with himself for being distracted, asked the person on the other line to repeat himself. When he finished the call 20 minutes later, he found himself scanning the crowd for green curls.
Deku was with Denki. Of course he was. They were standing close, swaying gently to the slow beat of the live band. Denki was saying something, charming smile full on display, Izuku had a soft blush on his cheeks.

Katsuki frowned.
A few mins later and Mitsuki came over, hissing at him.

"Do something about your idiot brother before I wring his neck in full few of members of the Diet." Mitsuki gestured to Eijirou's parents, looking disgruntled as they watched their future son-in-law dance with Deku.
Mitsuki went away again, smiling brightly at the Kirishimas, herding them inside the patio, away from the dancing couple.

Katsuki watched Denki whisper something close to Deku's ear, saw the not-quite-nerd-anymore nod, blush, then leave the dance floor.
Denki walked over to one of the waiters to snag a champagne bottle and a couple of champagne flutes, hiding them in his back pockets, covered by the tails of his formal coat. Humming all the while.

Katsuki snorted. He knew this routine.
Katsuki moved to intercept Denki, grabbing an arm and all but manhandling him towards the house. Denki tried to wriggle away but Katsuki's hold was firm.

"Let's have a little chat, shall we?" he smiled grimly down his brother.
He brought them to the study where Mitsuki was also waiting.

"You are idiot. My son is an idiot. Truly. What were you thinking?!"

"I don't think he WAS thinking," Katsuki said.

"Hey! Rude. Why are you two on my case anyway?"
"Don't try to con me, Denki. I am your mother. Right in front of your future parents-in-law, you are hustling the housekeeper's son!!"

"I wasn't hustling anyone! We were just dancing! It's a party people can dance."

Mitsuki turned to Katsuki. "Talk sense to your brother."
"I'm going."

"Sit down, Denki," Katsuki said.

"There's a party, I'm going."

"I said SIT DOWN."

He did. Right on top of the champagne flutes in his back pockets.
========
Izuku waited by the small garden, just off the party grounds. He could still hear the music from the party but the place was private, secluded. He was excited. Almost giddy. He could feel the champagne and thoughts of Denki going to his head.
He turned when he heard footsteps, smile already on his lips, but instead of Denki, saw Katsuki instead.

"Kacchan."

"Disappointed to me, Deku?"

He lifted the champagne bottle he was holding.

"No! I mean, yes. I mean, where's Denki?"
"He had an accident. Sat down on some champagne glasses. He's at the ER to get the shards taken out."

"Oh god."

"He'll be fine," Katsuki said flippantly. He handed Izuku the flutes who took them automatically, despite his horror. Katsuki opened the bottle with a pop and poured.
"He sent me to you."

Deku laughed but there was more disappointment in it than mirth.

"You always did clean up after Denki, Kacchan."

Katsuki shrugged. "He made a lot of messes."

"So what now?" Izuku asked, sipping on the champagne.
"Isn't this the part where the family lawyer comes to talk to the inappropriate waitress or actor or housekeeper's son and offer money to leave the son alone?" Izuku said, jokingly.

"If I offer you money, will you go away?" Katsuki asked.

Izuku stared at Katsuki in shock.
"I don't -- I'm not -- I've loved him all my life!"

Katsuki snorted. "Why?"

"I just do. I spent all those years away and I tried to like other people but it was always just him. He's... he's so handsome."

"There are other handsome people," Katsuki pointed out.
"No one is as handsome as Denki," Izuku said solemnly "Even Denki."

Katsuki snorted, acknowledging the teasing. "Yeah, alright. You love him cause he's handsome. I'm good looking too, you know. Or so people have told me."
Katsuki took their drinks and placed them to the side. He stepped close to Izuku and placed a hand on his waist, holding out the other.

"What are you doing?" Izuku asked nervously. He tried to step away but Katsuki's hand was firm on his waist.

"I told you. Denki sent me."
Izuku took the offered hand and allowed Katsuki to hold him, leading him in a slow dance, in time with the overheard music.

"You know this is where he brings them," Katsuki said, looking down at Izuku face.

"I know."

"There's the champagne. Then they dance."
Katsuki kept them swaying to the music.

"He probably sings to them too, just to be romantic," Katsuki said.

Izuku smiled. "You're the one with the voice, Kacchan. Not Denki."

Katsuki looked at Izuku and he couldn't help but blush.
He's never been this close, this long, to Katsuki before. Katsuki gathered him close until their chests are flush together, his face tucked against the side of Katsuki's neck. Then Katsuki began to sing, low, crooning, soft enough for only the two of them to hear.
"Some day, when I'm awfully low
When the world is cold
I will feel a glow just thinking of you
And the way you look tonight"

Katsuki sang with his mouth close to Izuku's ear, almost like a caress. They were dancing so close Izuku could feel the sounds vibrate through his chest.
“All my life I’ve watched him do this. And tonight…”

“Tonight you wanted it to be you.”

Izuku nodded.

“You disapprove?”

“Of him bringing you here? Don’t be stupid, Deku. Have you looked at a mirror lately?

“No, of me. The housekeeper’s son. Not knowing my place.”
Katsuki stopped them swaying to glare down at Izuku. “You think I give a shit about that?”

“It matters to some people.”

Katsuki held the glare.

“But not to you, Kacchan,” Izuku finally admitted.

“Damn right.”

Izuku smiled.
They’ve stopped dancing but remained standing close to each other, Katsuki’s hands still on Izuku’s waist, Izuku’s on Katsuki’s shoulders.

“So we’ve had the champagne. We’ve danced,” Katsuki said. “There’s one more left.”

Katsuki leaned in and kissed Izuku.
The kiss was hard, quick. Warm lips pressed against another. One of Katsuki's hands moving to cup Izuku’s chin, holding him in place. Izuku was so surprised he didn’t move for a beat, allowing the kiss to continue, his eyes open wide to see Katsuki’s face so close to his.
Katsuki's eyes were closed, the pale blond eyelashes flush against his perfect skin.

A heartbeat later and he finally came to his senses, pushing hard at Katsuki’s chest. Katsuki staggered back, moving a couple of steps away.
“Oh god. I didn’t mean to push you so hard, you just surprised me. Why would you kiss me, Kacchan!”

“Why indeed.”

Katsuki was already turning away to pick up the bottle and glasses.
“Denki is probably still at the ER. You can go see him tomorrow. You’ve had a long day, Deku. I suggest you rest for now,” Katsuki said, before leaving Izuku alone in the garden.

Izuku sat down hard on one of the benches, unsure of what just happened.
Outside, Katsuki was calling his Assistant, asking her to cancel all his appointments for the next two days, giving instructions. This whole Deku fiasco happened in a day, Katsuki will undo it in 2 days.

Katsuki, cleaning up after Denki's mess as always.
Mitsuki joined him a little later.

“Maybe I should talk to Izuku-kun. Tell him Denki has short attention span. He's just gonna get hurt. Eijirou’s good for Denki.”

“Not to mention if they break off that engagement the venture is also off. We’d lose a billion dollars on this.”
Mitsuki narrowed her eyes at her oldest son. “What are you planning?”

The plan was simple enough. Distract Deku from Denki until this deal goes through. Katsuki can do that. Wine and dine. Private jet. Pretty words.

How hard can it be to woo the little nerd?
