Last seen: Edmure surrendered Riverrun to the Lannister’s. We also found out that Roslin gave birth to a son.
If held captive in Riverrun, then free when Arya killed Freys?
If in Kings Landing, dead from Drogon?
Last seen: Dany left him in Meereen to keep the peace with his second sons.
Some speculated that he would come to her aid this season, but nothing so far, unlikely.
Last seen: Hot Pie now works at the Inn at the Crossroads. He has seen Brienne and Pod, but most recently he saw Arya and told her about Jon becoming King in the North
Last seen: went with Theon and Ironborn to defend Bran in the Godswood.
Presumed dead
Last seen: captured by Euron, chained in cells by Cersei. Tyene was poisoned, while Ellaria was told she would be kept alive to watch her daughter’s corpse decompose.
Both are presumed to have died in Kings Landing
Last seen: Cersei’s prisoner. Locked in a cell to be tortured and abused by The Mountain.
Presumed dead in Kings Landing
Last seen: after Arya killed The Waif and put her face on the wall, Jaqen says she is finally no one, before she leaves for Westeros.
His story is somewhat complete, but definitely unsatisfying.
Last seen: at the Citadel, giving Sam orders and ignoring his warnings about the Night King, albeit in a friendly manner.
Unlikely to see him or the Citadel again, as Sam has been pardoned and his maester-arc is no longer needed
Last seen: when Sam, Gilly and Lil Sam are at Horn Hill, they are warm and welcoming towards them. Since then, Randyl and Dickon were killed, so they’re ruling Horn Hill themselves?
Last seen: after finally getting Bran back to Winterfell, she gets very upset at his lack of gratitude and humanity and leaves. Most likely to Greywater Watch, her family’s house.
Last seen: only ever saw him in Bran’s Tower of Joy vision. It’s a shame, he could have been used to do some cool things @LordHowlandReed
Last seen: At the urging of “Uncle Petyr”, Robin sends the Knights of the Vale to help his cousin Sansa and Jon in the battle of the bastards.
Honestly, probably a good thing that he hasn’t been back. Less is more
Last seen: after initially refusing to help the Starks in the BotB, he says how much he regrets not coming to help and claims Jon as the King in the North. Then he does the same thing and sits out the Battle of WF.
Fuck this guy
Last seen: taking care of Bran and telling him stories about the White Walkers and Ice Spiders @BIG_AS_HOUNDS
This one is actually sad, as the actress passed away before season 1 aired. Character was retired
Last seen: after telling an old joke to two whores in a bathhouse, Salladhor is given a sack of gold by Davos to sail for Castle Black.
He has many of similarities to Euron, it’s a shame we never got to see them talk or meet on the sea
Last seen: rescued by Theon, she intends to take the Iron Islands back from Euron (who isn’t even there!?)
Later, Varys says that she has done so.
Why hasn’t she helped anyone at all this season? Didn’t get to battle Euron, just ran home
Last seen: met with Varys and Tyrion in Meereen. She agrees to help spread the word with her priests that Dany is a savior, not an invader. Also has a creepy moment with Varys about how he became a eunuch.
Just another Dany fan left behind
Last seen: Cersei paid him what the Iron Throne owed, using the spoils of war from the Tyrells. He then backs Cersei after hearing that they are acquiring the Golden Company.
A bad investment on his part, he’s likely safe back in Braavos
Last seen: when Arya’s lesson is interrupted by Cersei’s knights looking to seize her, Syrio fights them off with a wooden sword so she can escape.
While they never showed it, the fact that Meryn Trant survived is enough for me. He dead
Last seen: tells Jorah that Dany is with the one who stole her dragons.
Quaithe is apparently way more interesting in the books, and it’s too bad we didn’t get to see any of that
