I’ve been thinking about what Mike S. Miller pulled involving the memory of a good friend of mine, #MikeWieringo. Honestly, I surprised myself with my admittedly visceral reaction. I feel like I need to explain myself, so get ready for a long thread.
Anyone who knows me well and has spent a lot of time around will tell you that I’m pretty easygoing. I have a very, very long fuse. While I do love a good debate, I don’t tend to get into screaming matches, and hurling insults is something that I’ll almost never do.

I worry that people are tweeting and retweeting within a bubble, talking to vastly the same audience. I worry that people are spending hours tweeting when they could be canvassing, registering voters, going to phone banks or door to door.
