Am told the more junior ministers have been moved to act on account of the Cabinet being unwilling to wield the knife - mainly because so many are leadership candidates who won’t work together or ‘do a Hezza’ and be responsible for the fatal blow
One Cabinet minister whom I approached in the last half to challenge about the state of play could only answer, very flustered: “It’s all so difficult, it’s all so tricky.”
