1. An impeachment right before the 2020 election instead of now. That’s obviously playing politics.
2. Democrats who say he committed serious crimes in office but defend a decision not to impeach him. That’s even worse politics.

An exhaustive pre-impeachment investigation of all the many high crimes and misdemeanors that @realDonaldTrump has committed in office (allowing time for litigation over subpoenas) would take until at least summer 2024. That closely matches the schedule he also has in mind.
