Wondering now about the “shitty conference call” class of problem that folks like Genghis Khan might’ve had to deal with. Anybody read anything funny/interesting about olden annoyances?
I imagine it must’ve been frustrating to send out messengers and couriers who literally just disappear and there’s no way of tracking them. Iirc some of the best early emperors/conquerors were basically masters of postal routing and logistics
