This afternoon the Carl Beech jury watched the police interview from November 2014 in which he described three alleged child murders - claims the prosecution say are entirely false 
Beech is seen alleging he saw one school chum murdered in a deliberate hit-and-run after he was warned not to have friends by the former head of MI5
He claimed the killing happened because a powerful paedophile ring “warned me not to be friends with him and I didn’t listen” – and that the person who gave the warnings was ex-MI5 boss Sir Michael Hanley
Beech said the boy - described only as Scot - was left lying dead in the road after being targeted. He described being bundled into the vehicle himself and then blacking out, before saying no one at school ever subsequently spoke about Scott or what happened
Jurors have been told that Northumbria Police, which charged Mr Beech with lying to the Met, found no evidence that a deceased ‘Scott’ existed or that a boy was deliberately run over in the relevant area
During the same Met interview – on 3 November 2014 – Beech is seen claiming he saw a separate boy being stabbed and strangled to death by the former Tory MP Harvey Proctor around 1980
He claimed that Mr Proctor and another man - whom he said was “just an ordinary bloke” - abused him and an unnamed boy in a London house and that the child was killed in front of him
He claimed the then-MP, whom he said was wearing a smart suit and wielding a kitchen knife, warned “you’re next”, but he escaped due to being a "favourite" of some other alleged abusers
Describing the third alleged incident, Beech is seen alleging that Harvey Proctor, Sir Michael Hanley and another man beat a boy to death in front of a watching former Home Secretary Lord Brittan after telling a group of children that one of them would die
Claiming he was one of four lads abused by the men at a London property, he said one of the boys was called Fred, whom prosecutors say Beech later impersonated while using a fake email account to correspond with investigators
Beech is seen alleging the boys were told to choose which of them would die, before the men later fixed on one child - not named during the interview - who was then beaten to death
During the interview, Beech told police that eventually he and the surviving boys were taken out of the room and “I just went home”
The trial has now adjourned until Wednesday 29 May
