Mayor confirms two deaths, cannot confirm age/sex yet. They still need to notify the next of kin. ME is on the scene. At this point, mayor says it is a search and rescue effort @kfor

Once daylight hits, they should have a better idea of the extent of damage. They are expecting to hold another press conference at 9am. Residents at the trailer park hit have been evacuated, moved to the VFW @kfor

Casualties are “suspected” to be from the mobile park, but this is what they are still trying to confirm. 88 spots are in the mobile, “15 spots” is what he says they are focusing on right now. Can not confirm the extent of the injuries of those rushed to the hospital @kfor

Mayor Matt White: “Our community is very resilient to this. We ask you to pray for us, pray for the first responders...the main thing is we have to stick together. I know people want to help. We want your help.” Just asks for time to assess, says daylight will help @kfor

Mayor when asked to describe the scene of the mobile park: “Horrific.” Urges families looking for their loved ones should go to the VFW, not the mobile home park @kfor

When asked whether there are any people still missing, Mayor says they are still trying to confirm/match their numbers with records, etc. With it being MDW, that can be a little challenging @kfor
