Doing regular jury service in DC and the court just asked for “volunteers” to serve on a grand jury starting today and continuing every Monday through Friday, 9-5, for the next five weeks.
No one got up.

UPDATE: The lady making the request started walking through the group kind of singing the request for volunteers and it worked. She found 3 people!
She needs 2 more so she’s still at it. Her latest appeal was that if you need to go to the doctor you can still do it if you give them advance notice.
That scored her one more volunteer and she seems satisfied. She’s is now “raising the roof.”
