I’ve always felt like I needed my 8 hours of sleep more than other people, that I’m more sensitive to sleep loss
Now I think that everyone else is sleep-deprived, and that they are kidding themselves that they don’t need more sleep
But everyone sleeps
And most people don’t sleep enough
Cramming for an exam with an all-nighter doesn’t work well at all
Because sleep is the engine of memory
Which matters
But it’s a lot harder to maintain emotional control if you haven’t slept
