Whoah! This is fascinating. Julian Wheatland, ex-Cambridge Analytica chairman, resigned today from Emerdata, the CA spin-off. And look what else is new: company's registered address now Griffin Law. Firm owned by scandal-prone Brexiteer & founder of Thatcher Centre, Donal Blaney
...Donal Blaney tied up in ALL sorts of things. He was head of the Young Britons Foundation, an offshoot of the Young America's Foundation, a Koch brothers-funded think tank that aimed to educate young people on "traditional values, limited government & Judo-Christian values"...
...and ALL sorts of people involved with the Young Britons Foundation, including Steve Bannon's right-hand dude, Raheem Kassam. And Matthew Richardson, ex-general secretary of UKIP & - so Andy Wigmore told me - Robert Mercer's man-in-London...
Remember the Tory bullying story? The tragic story involving the suicide of a young Tory activist, Elliott Johnson...it was the Young Britons Foundation and Blaney's Conservative Way Forward who were implicated in that..
So why is this so interesting? Because Emerdata is Cambridge Analytica Redux. And Cambridge Analytica denied & denied & denied any relationship to UKIP/LeaveEU. In face of overwhelming evidence. And now repped by hyper-connected hard-right Brexit fanboy..

So @BBCNews have the video. And they’re currently debating whether to use it on teatime bulletin. Most Conservative party members don’t read @ObserverUK & aren’t on Twitter. They will literally never see it unless it’s on BBC.
...I imagine part of the debate is that a lot of people in UK don’t know who Steve Bannon is. But isn’t it time they found out? Banning Muslims from America. That was his idea. Perhaps we could start with that? And then move on to the white supremacism?
So let’s not have a pile-on, but the news value of this is a no brainer, isn’t it? He’s putting himself forward as the future PM. He’s been top of the news cycle for 3 days. And there’s video! That’s usually the killer for any broadcaster. There’s video..

Here’s what Johnson said last summer when it was first reported he was in touch with Bannon. It was all just a ‘lefty delusion’. And right up to this week, his team insisted there had beeen just one text. There’s a video, I said. Cue: 24 hours silence..
Because Johnson had got trapped in a lie. He claimed last year, that Bannon had texted him an invite to meet & he turned it down & that was the end of of it. But the video tells a completely different story...
