Let's go a little deeper, because while the email saga is long and complicated, and to Charles' good point was deeply, deeply distorted by the right, @billmaher is smarter than this, or at least has no excuse not to be.
First, thanks for telling us she was a terrible candidate. I think history will show us that there were far more latent sexists in the world than bad women candidates, especially since this candidate won the popular vote by a margin twice that of your viewership on a good night.
Second, and much more worrisome: You somehow managed to attack the press while falling into the same trap many did in 2016. You found a false equivalency between Trump's Constitution-crushing behavior with a bad choice about IT administration.
The email choice was a mistake. She has said so literally hundreds of times. You want to continue to rail about it, be my guest. But get your facts straight. Nothing was done to obstruct justice. Subpoena's were issued, yes. Everyone complied. No crimes were found. The end.
Don't believe that? Ask James Comey. No friend to Hillary Clinton, here's what he had to say on this subject. It wasn't a close call. This was purely the work of Trump and the right to distract and divert, and it appears you fell right into the trap.
I don't expect everyone to understand the ins & outs of this, it's a complicated issue that doesn't deserve the scrutiny it got. Most have better things to do. But if you're going to go on TV & level an accusation about someone committing a crime, get your fucking facts straight.
