In 2005 Congress passed a law (signed by W) protected against civil legal liability gun manufacturers, distributors, dealers, or importers. Then Senator Larry ‘tap tap tap’ Craig, on the NRA Board, sponsored the bill.
The Senate vote was 65–31, the House 283-144. In the Senate two GOP voted against it, nine Demos voted for it (none in the current Senate).
These senators up for reelection in 2020 voted for it:
Lamar Alexander (R-TN) –not running for reelection
Susan Collins (R-ME) – highly vulnerable
John Cornyn (R-TX)
Michael Enzi (R-WY)
Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
James Inhofe (R-OK)
Mitch McConnell (R-KY) – vulnerable

GA06 is a conservative, suburban district, the last reps of which were Newt Gingrich, Johnny Isakson & Tom Price (& Karen Handel, but the election was rigged.). So, I understand her reservation.
But the Demos have taken the long road. The foreign & domestic emolument clauses are more than enough to impeach, w/o Mueller. Wholesale profiting off of one’s govt position is totally illegal. It is the ‘supreme law of the land’.
We impeached (but didn’t remove) one Prez for changing cabinet officials, & one for supposedly lying about sex.
