התקיפה האחרונה בתל אל-חארה מלמדת שלמרות הפעילות המונעת המתמשכת של ישראל, חזבאללה ואיראן לא ויתרו על "תיק הגולן". הפעילות הצבאית האיראנית בדרום סוריה היא מבוכה עבור רוסיה, שערבה לישראל לא לאפשר זאת, ולכן מוסקבה בוחרת לא להתייחס לתקיפה הישראלית.

It is not only to avoid a 3rd round of elections, but it is important to bridge left-right/religious-secular/Jewish-Arabs and social gaps in our divided and polarized state. A unity government will strengthen Israel’s future as a Jewish, secure, moral and democratic state.

US-Israel DEFENSE TREATY :
Ostensibly at this timing, this is clearly about election propaganda, and not a ripe policy step in Israel, nor in Washington.
A defense treaty with the US would strengthen Israel’s deterrence, but its costs will outweigh its benefits.

1️⃣ Preservation of our independence and freedom of action, free of US approval.
2️⃣ Keeping opacity about Israel strategic capabilities attributed to Israel by international media.

3️⃣ Upholding the fundamental principle of Israel’s defense: “we protect ourselves by ourselves”. We should not risk American soldiers in our defense!
4️⃣ IDF fight on our borders, not expeditionary wars around the world. The Golani brigade in Afghanistan? No thanks…

This is hilarious! Yediot Aharonot & the NYT ran simultaneously a report claiming that the Likud was operating a network of fake bots to support Netanyahu on social media. Bibi appeared in a press conference with one of the bots, who is a real person.
Israeli radio has interviewed other people that Yediot and the NYT identified as bots. To say that this report backfired politically is an understatement. Netanyahu turned it around masterfully on its authors. On top of everything else, it's hilarious.
This is seriously funny. If you know Hebrew, here's the radio show that first revealed that the "bots" named in the Yediot/NYT were real people, whom it interviewed. 103fm.maariv.co.il/programs/media…

Most of the abuses that this sector of media is critical about come from internet giants, who pay lip service in response, because those abuses are very profitable, & regulation is unlikely in the US & users not motivated enough to change their usage of networks. /2
US regulation that would help stop the criticized practices is unlikely to help, mainly because Congress isn't qualified to design these regulations, so they would leave it to lobbyists working for the industry to be regulated /3
