I was issued a minor traffic citation recently going to a state park and have called about two dozen times in the past week to resolve it but the number always dials, then says “access code required.” I have sent about six emails to the listed email for the judge and county email 
I called the county judge who couldn’t reach that office. I called JP precinct 2, where a nice woman tried to help me but couldn’t reach JP 1 either. If it’s this hard for someone with all the resources:time to reach an elected official to resolve a citation what about others?
Let’s not forget that minor citations such as these can lead to arrest warrants and jail time and completely destroy people’s lives. It should not be so hard to resolve a citation with an elected official’s office.
