With so much violence & negativity in my city Kolkata,i was contemplating to leave this city to spend some quality time in Himalayas.
Suddenly it dawned on me that just about 100days are left for Mahalaya.Plan cancel.
Andar se ek positive wala feeling aa raha hai.

The place of absolute sanctity where skillful artists breathes life into Ma Durga. A place which can take you into another dimension.

With less than 2 months remaining the preparations are gathering pace. The atmosphere of festivity is near. You can feel it!

You are not a true Bengali if you are not familiar with the name of Mohan Banshi Rudra Pal. Joy Ma Durga :)

No other place in world gives this sense of divinity. A place where Ma Durga is created by the pure dedication of artists. There is no copy of this place. Not even a bad one.

Mesmerizing...Spellbound.Inverted kolkata carved on the ceiling of the Pandal. It includes every small details which couldn't be captured by camera.This is the dedication level of the artists involved. This is months of hard work.

Ekdalia Evergreen. A name synonymous with Kolkata pandal hoppers. Inspite of all the craze around theme, this puja has maintained its tradionality. The jhar bati is a special delight to watch. Majestic Pratima!
