The new records contain an email from Transportation official Todd Inman, in which he told a staffer that certain requests from McConnell’s state director could “bypass” the schedulers and be forwarded directly to Chao: documentcloud.org/documents/5700…
In September 2017, a new counsel in McConnell’s office emailed Inman to tell him that she had just been in Kentucky and that “Everyone is very appreciative of the great work you are doing up here” documentcloud.org/documents/5700…
